Matt Wernsdorfer

Matt Wernsdorfer attended the Baltimore City Public School system, k-12, and has degrees in History, Classics, and Theater. From 1996-2003, he worked for Baltimore City for 8 years as a social studies teacher (another card carrying alumnus of the Resident Teacher Program) and Blum teacher mentor. Currently an Organizational Facilitator for Talent Development Schools at Johns Hopkins, he spends most of his time at Baltimore Talent HS in Harlem Park, Abraham Lincoln HS in Brooklyn, and various schools in North Carolina. In addition to helping to found the Baltimore Teachers Network, Matt has served the Cross Cities Campaign for Urban School Reform as National and Program board member for 8 years and was elected to represent the Southeast Education Committee on the Southeast Community Organization from 2000-2003.
